Frequently Asked Questions

I get these questions a lot. Here are my best answers...

Do you only plan/book road trips?

No, I can plan any type of trip...honeymoons, vacations, girls trips or any other kind of trip you want to take. I am certified in Disney trips, Luxury trips and I'm working on my Honeymoon and Destination Wedding certification.

Do people still go on road trips?

Yes, road trips remain the most popular type of travel. Nearly 80% of travelers said they were taking a road trip and of those people 20% said they were going more that 500 miles away from home. Those numbers have been increasing in a post pandemic world.

Why go on a road trip?

You are in control of when you leave and arrive, what you do and see, and where you stop along the way. The freedom and flexibility you get on a road trip is really the best part. The value of that can’t be measured. Plus, you can pack what will fit in your vehicle without any extra baggage fees!

Is it worth the money to pay for vacation planning?

You are just another number when you book online. There is no personal attention if you need to make a change or if there is a problem. By getting to know you through the free consultation, I will customize your perfect trip, make changes and help however I can.

Why drive when we can fly or go on a cruise instead?

Trying something different can be a very rewarding experience. Besides, going on a road trip is one of America's great pastimes. And, if you want a ticketed trip anywhere in the world, I can book flights and/or a cruise. There are great rail trips around the world and river cruises. I can also book you on trips that cater to your specific interests. If you want to get crazy you can even add any ticketed trip to a leg of a road trip!

Do I need a passport if traveling from the US to Canada?

Yes, you will need a valid passport! It takes time to get one so start the process earlier rather than later. And if you are coming into the US from another country (including Canada) you will also need a valid passport.

Why go with a travel agent when I can do it myself?

Trip planning, in general, is a big time commitmentment and road trip planning requires even more organization and thinking ahead. That's an even bigger time commitment, but travel agents have the experience and contacts to make the entire process run smoother. I have developed relationships with tour providers and I stay up to date on Luxury Travel trends!
